I know that I have posted this picture before. However, after reading Jeralyn’s blog about puppies, I just had to post a picture of Jera’s “baby” again! Madison is missing her morning routine…sleep, wait for Jera to have her cereal, follow Jera upstairs, get on Jera’s bed and sleep, then she eats a treat before Jera leaves for school. Oh to be together again! xo

Puppies and dogs. My own dog, my sister’s dog, my boyfriend’s, and even stranger’s dogs. Even if I just see one riding by in a car, or walking past on the street it brings a smile to my face. I have always been that person that walks up to other people asking if I can pet their dogs…The one that can’t watch the sad animal movies (like Babe or Charlotte’s Web or Homeward Bound)…the one that dogs cling to. When I was little, I wanted to grow up and have 7 dogs. They’re just so full of love and acceptance. No matter what happens, they’ll always be there for you with consistent appreciation and adoration. They don’t care if you’re skinny or tubby, tall or short, sad or happy, weird or popular, employed or unemployed, lonely or content, stressed or peaceful….it doesn’t matter to them. At the end of the day, they only want to show you how much they love you (by wagging their tail and begging for treats) and be loved in return.

I can’t resist any dogs or puppies because their unconditional love is contagious; its the only kind of love I know that has no limits, boundaries, heartbreaks, or conditions. To them, you’re perfect just the way you are. And they’ll never let you down or disappoint you or hurt you or make you cry.

They’ll just snuggle with you, lick away your tears, and wag their tail when you get home. The will always, always show you how wonderful YOU are. HOW? Just look in those deep, trusting eyes and you’ll see how THEY see you….

My boyfriend knows that if I’m having a bad day, all he has to do is show me a picture of some cute dog and it’ll make me smile. Sometime, I hope he actually HAS the cute little puppy and surprises me with one. :) We’ll see…..

Great blog. I do adore Miss Madison….she makes my day complete.

Tim Hortons, my favorite Canadian (now American too!) cafe, has started using their holiday cups. My boyfriend and I are visiting his family in Ohio and got to enjoy a couple of delicious drinks there today. My favorite beverage they have is the hot chocolate. It’s not like Starbucks where they just pour in a thing of Swiss Miss and try to sell it to you as “Signature Hot Chocolate”…Tim Hortons actually makes theirs unique and delicious. It is rich and VERY chocolatey…and its made with water (which is such a surprise but its great for those who are lactose-intolerant). Go to their website to see if there is one near you. And if there is, go now! If there isn’t, figure out when you will be near one and THEN go!

I want the cup….that is adorable! Think I’ll open a franchise!
