We got this gorgeous, derpy Labrador x Golden Retriever exactly a year ago, today.
The reason for getting him was simple, I had no one. My Grandfather had just passed away, and the first relationship I had had ended with a bang, and I just saw no reason for continuing.
That was until I saw a little black Lab in a pet store. I held him, we bonded, his little teeth chewed my fingers to the bone, and on the day of my Grandfather’s funeral, I brought him home.
Little Tommy.To me, there’s no other way of putting this, that dog saved my life.
I have had 2 labs….my yellow lab Mandy, who I last 7 years ago and continue to miss. Now….Madison, my black lab who is 7. There is nothing more comforting then knowing I have her little face to come home to everyday. She is such a blessing to me.
